Postcards from Paradise #4 ~ Under Fluffy Pink Clouds

Our first spring evening walk
under fluffy pink
clouds ...
we strolled through our neighbour's garden,
her windows shone in the golden light,
we paused at the water's edge
to reflect ....
on gratitude ...
for being here
enjoying the moments!

BTW
My neighbour's name was
Elizabeth of Shrewesbury
AKA
Bess of Hardwick.
Bess was a very powerful woman of her time,
having royal connections
with
Elizabeth I of England

I did think that looked like a very grand house! I read a book about Bess of Hardwick-a most daunting lady! Beautiful pictures of your stroll!

Paradise indeed! What a dreamy lucsious world you live in!

Happy that your week is starting out in the pink.
Dearest Sue,
I meant to comment yesterday but got busy herding cats, literally. I am catsitting. This is completely lovely. It is like a Monet retreat in the middle of Mayhem over here. I love what you have done and the connection with English history. Your images are stunning, glorious really! Happy mum's day, by the way! I will comment later on your next post.
Love,
Noelle

Thank you Foxysue.. for your comments on my page.. you have anyway given such a treat here.. you know I was told by many a people that Haiku must show.. so I have always created pictures in my mind..and placed haikus showing that what I see in my mind.. seeing a picture and writing alos needs similar talent.. but then one can do it faster for one has something to focus on..

let me try spontaniety here..

Reflection of tree,
Thank God water is still
That makes leaves calm..

Haiku my Heart # 53

Love Lifts the Spirit Promises of spring, being satiated with love, lifts wintered spirits. Sending to Recuerda mi Corazon

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
