It has been over a year since I collaged a dream or vision board, something I have been meaning to do every full-moon  along with Jamie Ridler and the other dreamers. Yesterday was a busy one, Dougal Dog is now in the animal hospital, they are watching him closely for fear the ulcer starts to melt, this could be disastrous.  I had intended to post my intuitive vision board last night  but sleep won over! To those not familiar with my practice, the process is totally intuitive: I had no fresh collage materials in the house, (the images need to be fresh to your eyes for the purpose of intuiting!)  I bought a weekend newspaper, the type that have several coloured sections, travel, beauty, home etc. I flip through the pages and whatever speaks I pull out, some images, some words, some I cut, some I rip. I clear a space on the table with my board in the centre, any board will do this one is j...

Having done that, the magazines came out next, I didn't have any new ones since last time, so I recycled! I've been playing with Jamie Ridler & Co collaging my intuition under the Sturgeon Full Moon Diving beneath the surface  waiting to see what my intuition came  up with, I selected, cut, ripped, assembled & glued  I hadn't realised until yesterday  it was the Sturgeon Full Moon, strangely enough I've been seeing fish for awhile, on waking my eyes were drawn to one fish eye gazing at me in my knotty pine skirting board  and  did you notice the fish in my new header? Today I decided to dream under the full moon  along with Jamie Ridler and company. This is my intuitive creation,  I had forgotten how relaxing and therapeutic cutting, ripping and glueing can be! (for detail click image) As usual, it was a totally intuitive process and this is what I'm reading into it~ Lots of red for energy,  I have to pace myself these days due to the lack of it. Fresh fruit to give me energy, cherry picked  denoting quality,  I'm worth it!  A pop of yellow bringing sunshine into my life. Through the corner of my eye though, matters of the heart are catching my attention, I'm learning lessons! Yin Yang reminds me of balance, whilst the stiletto heel is saying be a shade braver! This is timely advice for me,  which I intend to take because  I'm planning my own Art & Yoga retreat  where I will be leading on art, collage dreamboards are top of the list! Wish me Luck! I'm feeling a little giddy at the moment! things have moved on for me, I have a couple of things in 'the pipe line' This was my 'dreamboard' offering  for Jamie Ridler's Full Moon Dreamboards from a year ago, see ~ Full Pink Moon The first exciting thing is  I'm starting to create my own Photo-Blog-Book here's a sample page on my screen, will need a bit of tweaking, I usually assemble the whole book and tweak at the end when I do any DTP work. But the most exciting thing I'm making s-t-r-i-d-e-s towards  is tied up in the message of this intuitive Dreamboard ~ Full Pink Moon It's something I've been working towards for quite awhile, at least in my head! On this New Moon Jamie invited us to consider what feeling we wanted to invite in:- serenity, joy, inspiration, a spirit of play, adventure, sense of accomplishment or wonder? After assembling the dream board she asks "What emotional energy infuses your dreamboard?". To be honest I didn't want to spend ages with my dreamboard today, I just wasn't in the zone, but I was up for lazily thumbing through glossy mags, they always give me a buzz, being a photographer with a love of graphics I can just get lost in those images. So I just tore out a few and decided to loosely lay them over some foil to see what effect they would give, didn't want to get my hands sticky today! . The Harvest Moon brings such wonderful, nostalgic memories.  Jamie Ridler says  " This new moon is in Libra, a delicious sign of balance,  luxury and grace."   and  t hat we might dream of  " something that is simply about the delight". I am happily returning to the  dreamboarding circle after a few months off ... I took the opportunity  while I had a sleepless night and found the exercise cathartic despite the situation ... The luxurious theme is represented with the word  'princess'   something I think a lot of us girls  wishfully dream we are sometimes! First of all I just wanted to say how delighted I was this afternoon to share the dreamboard experience with another creative explorer.  We had a lovely afternoon the three of us assembling our dreams and chatting in therapy!!!  This time I decided not to show the whole of my board because I just want to focus in on one element I've been thinking about lately, I've been trying to bring more unconditional love into my relationships, which isn't always easy! I've been dreaming all week in this lovely dreamy place called Cromer, as you can see by my collage I've been bathing myself in beauty, noticing all the colours and images to bring home and assemble on the Strawberry Full Moon. Jamie spoke about taking time for creativity, this morning I did just that, I got absorbed in my passion for photography and image assembling.  The moments of my holiday are all re-lived as I pursue my passion, a cyclical activity!   Visit Jamie Ridler Studios

Well, this dreamboarding activity has become quite an addiction, not just because I love the chance to use my creative energy but because as I intuit the process it becomes more intriguing!  For me this time I felt drawn to the image of a 'strong woman' that some of you commented on from my last dreamboard.  Again, I saw two similar images of scarecrows on the same newspaper page, I just had to include them.  The words scary, freedom and adventure all popped out at me along with the clock telling the time, also images of distant shores and peoples captured my attention. This is so compelling and right in line with my current personal awareness reading. When I stood back and looked at my dreamboard, it seems to speak to me!  The scarecrow and it's reflection reminds me of my own duality which can be scary at times! This is my first moon board and I am really happy with it!  I love the colours especially, and have been thinking  a lot about travel lately. My ultimate dream destination is India and the Taj Mahal.  I teach yoga and want to move into yoga therapy so for me this board is about planting the seeds of change and moving forward towards my goals and dreams in this life, let's hope those seeds blossom!! This time the dreamboard reflects how my thoughts are scattered. I hope that the ideas with longevity take seed and blossom and so can lead me to a more certain path through life.

I wanted this board to feel light and airy to match the mood of blossom time.  This is what I would like to attract and reflect in my life also, a lighter spirit.  I intuitively assembled my images and words as usual, and again I was surprised to see the main focus seems to be two contrasting female figures.  One all soft and serene in among the pink words '"I am love" whilst the other is in grainy black and white tones and appears to be forging forward from the words "pretty powerful".  Is this my alter-ego making a showing again?  I'm not sure, but when you put the two quotes together -"I am love and pretty powerful" it makes a thought provoking statement?

Hi again, everyone. Another dreamboard for the full moon. Although I haven't been able to be as creative and artistic as I'd like (due to life's usual pressures) it's true that spending what little time I could has still been useful. I have asked myself what has been bubbling up beneath the surface? This has given more reality to my secret desires for love and passion, for concentrating more on my health and wellbeing. It has started the thinking process around building my career further and to improving my home. Overall, I want to aspire to being more dreamy and imaginative. I hope this comes across.

Hi, am back in blogland now after my decorating break, my kitchen is all clean, sparkly and new, so now I can spend more time 'blissing out' and getting 'really' creative. My first creative spurt was to assemble my vision board contribution to Jamie Ridler's group of Dreamboarders. Visit Jamie Ridler Sunday afternoon was spent finding images, words and colours that spoke to me intuitively. Sunday evening was spent intuitively arranging them onto a board - I like the whole process to be unintentional so I can look at my board and see what is reflected back. It's a bit like reading the tea leaves - I remember mum doing this as a girl when there was no such a thing as tea bags! After drinking the tea turning the cup upside down on the saucer to see how the leaves arranged themselves on the side of the cup to reveal a story! I am stepping in for my Mum as she is busy decorating her cottage with blissful dreams. Anyhow, I wanted to continue participating in this dreamboarding excersize or 'moonboarding' as I refer to it, I find it very cathaertic. This dreamboard was a challenge as I am not really a dreamer. I had to think for ages about what I could possibly want out of life on the grand scale....somewhere between an increased level of inner calm and world peace is the answer so this tries to represent what it means to me.

Yesterday Saturday, 30th January 2010 saw the first full moon of the decade - the Full Wolf Moon, the significance of the 'Wolf Moon' is that they are often heard howling at this time of the year as they search for food. My daughter and I decided to vision along with Jamie Ridler's group of creative dream-boarders for the Full Wolf Moon. I have been talking about this for some time now since attending a 'Law of Attraction' seminar. I became keen to assemble my own vision board and decided to see what was on the internet as I wanted to be part of a community of like minded creative explorers, and after some searching I came across Jamie's blog which encourages this tool as a means to self awareness and creativity, so these are our very first dream board contributions. We collected the images and words that spoke to us, or we felt drawn to over a couple of weeks, then yesterday we set about intuitively assembling them on stretched canvas boards....
