To be with You

This one day, I am grateful for just one ounce of energy, energy enough to see the sparkles, then to press the button, then to press more buttons, which in-turn like the dynamo on a bicycle made more energy, more love, more appreciation! And so look what happened, my little ounce of energy  just like the Blackpoll Warbler ~  Wikipedia   flew me all the way round the world just to be with YOU! Exquisite Moments

What am I going to do with this one beautiful day? It's yoga day, and yes yoga calls, but something is calling me louder! I have been having sleepless nights lately, health issues are causing me distress, me and the doc are sorting this! Meanwhile I have vowed to use the moments between the discomfort to 'revel in' as Susan Jeffers puts it "those exquisite moments"! This morning I have a yearning to share: Sometimes when I wake in the night I see this enormous star dangling in the blackness, it is so bright and beautiful my heart fills from its radiance, then as I look further into the sky and see hundreds of star jewels it reminds me they are like the multitude of exquisite moments in our lives. As with the blackness of a clear night sky, in life's ''dark night' somehow the jewels sparkle that much brighter, are more precious.  In making my vow to become more aware of these jewel like exquisite moments, I have observed somet...

Truly Grateful

For what I received I am most truly grateful Haiku Forever! Checking back I realise it is now over two years since I posted my first haiku. It has been a wonderful journey, one that has brought richness and wonder to my Fridays. Meeting new creative minded individuals has been a  blessing for which I am Truly Thankful. Also grateful to the inspirational Rebecca who lovingly provides a place for us to gather. xxx                                                                                                                                     Quote from Rumi  Linking with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon ...

Wednesday's Words ~ Rumi

Stars in Their Eyes

Today I'm struggling to find the words of communication so instead my offering is a digital rendition of my observational drawing ~> "Shine like the whole universe is yours." ~ Rumi Linking with Postcards from Paradise Recuerda mi Corazon

Beautiful Water under the Bridge

Yesterday whilst editing a few of my images ready for canvas, I came across this from last year and was about to delete but got caught in the memory, suddenly I fell in love with the image and the memory all over again. Last year was full of walks with my love and the boys to our special place, a row of five little ascending ponds in the grounds of our beloved Hardwick Hall. These were special times, me being in love with capturing every reflection that spoke to me in those pools of colour. This year has been so different what with the incessant rain and other restraining obstacles, but these images are like gold-dust to me, they immediately transport me back to one of the most beautiful periods of my life. I can retrace my steps to Paradise in the click of a mouse! “Let the beauty we love be what we do.  There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”    ~ Rumi Sending my memories to ~> Postcards from Paradise Recuerda mi Corazon ...

Made it on Monday

The feeling ~ fatigued by ongoing overwhelm. Intention ~ love myself more,  stretching and breathing, trusting and believing. “Birds make great sky-circles of their freedom. How do they learn it? They fall and falling, they're given wings.”  ~ Rumi

Sanctuary

Remember, the entrance to the sanctuary door is inside you. ~  Rumi Sharing the Joy of Rumi more Joy at  Meri's Musings

Sometimes I See You

In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty how to make poems.  You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.” ~  Rumi

Spiritual Sunday #5 ~ Hungry

"a fish is soon satiated with his water,  he who lacks his daily bread ,   for him the day is very long" ~  Rumi Sending to Postcards from Paradise Recuerda mi Corazon

What's in a Name?

Isn't it funny,  I was feeling a bit chilled sat here, I have a flu bug/virus just now, I was thinking I need my long, comfy cardigan to warm me,  voilĂ   my love walks in with the said  long, comfy cardigan. I've had more  'synchronicity'  today ~ At the beginning of the year I chose the name 'Grace'  as my adopted name for the year, knowing there would be challenges ahead, family matters that would call  for me to be Grace-full! I met the challenge and felt I had lived up to my  new name for the most-part. Recently, my memory lapsed and I almost  forgot about my new name, I returned to the old pattern, I returned to the little self not my new Graceful Self. I spent a couple hours there ruminating  with the little self on how I was feeling today, how hurt I was, that I had been overlooked.  Whilst blog hopping  I came across something  that I had syn...
