My dream was broken after having made the above comment on yesterday's post ~  Walking by Faith I know other people's dreams may bring on a yawn, but this one is a thriller and auspicious I feel!   See what you think? The Dream~>~> The path was narrow along the craggy edge, I was scared, for to my left the rocky surface fell away sharply and to my right there was, I thought, a deep, dark black sea, although I barely dare look for fear of turning sideways I might lose my grip and fall in! I gingerly crawled the shiny surface clinging tightly, scaling the ridge, however ahead at a distance I could see the outline of a mountain range with the sun just peeping through and lighting up a scene that looked like what I imagined to be Shangri-La! My immediate feeling however was one of fear and it was almost paralyzing me to ...

Yesterday my feelings were fragile, we had planned a break by the ocean, but had to come home early ~ I was not feeling well. Today I had a ~~> I had intended to draw whilst away, so not to be thwarted I got my pencils and paper out this morning and started some observational drawing. But do you know what ?  It wasn't 'floating my boat'. I knew exactly where my boat would float though and, do so for hours ~ yes my joy  floats right here on this old computer screen, I load some images from my picture files then I am a happy bunny, I play and play all day, my calling you might say..... Let go of struggling resolve to find clarity  flee from one's own head   Though I was a keen knitter years ago  I couldn't master this loopy stitch pattern this week, instead I was turning loopy myself!  It had a strangle hold over me. For two hours or so I determined to  think it through,  struggling the technique formula, finally failing dismally  I pulled the whole lot off the needles in frustration!  I went away, left the struggle,  but a curious thing then happened as I stood with a quiet mind  clarity and resolution  appeared , fully formed! Much the same as struggling with anything in life I find getting out of one's own head  allows for clarity!   They call it 'minding the gap'. Linking with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon

For what I received I am most truly grateful Haiku Forever! Checking back I realise it is now over two years since I posted my first haiku. It has been a wonderful journey, one that has brought richness and wonder to my Fridays. Meeting new creative minded individuals has been a  blessing for which I am Truly Thankful. Together we can travel to the stars and back, we are soul-sisters. This week has been one full of emotion for me, but I have come to appreciate even more the sparkles in my life. My online sisters and the occasional brother, are you reading me Joe! ;~) & My yoga mat mates, & My fleshly sister, we are quite a few years apart age wise, when I was growing up she was already married. Dallas, (isn't that a super name?) lived overseas for about twenty years  so when she returned to the UK we had to get to know each other all over again! Next week we are going to a posh hotel dinner & dance, today I'm on my way over to hers,  we are going to talk ~ shoes'n'frocks this is the nickname my love gave me when I was a slip of a lass, my proper name being Susan Fox. Had no idea! I heard it on the grapevine! be well, Rebecca I have been away from Bloglandia,   had a nasty accident whilst walking my boys (dogs), fractured my ankle  and whisked away by helicopter to hospital, so I didn't know of Rebecca's pain. It's been an eventful few weeks  happy mingled with sad, I'm learning to just be with it all. Today is Haiku my Heart poetry day hosted by Rebecca over at  Recuerda mi Corazon       Haiku has become a weekly treat, a kind of  therapy for me on Friday. The Therapy Begins ~>~>~> I'm going to my picture file as I write to see which image stands out and speaks to me, after that I know the words will just tumble out! ~>~>~>~>~> Life is a journey, the grass is not always green, I'm checking my stride! I've had this image for ages,  a window reflection caught in a poster,  it captured my attention whilst out shopping  I knew it had a hidden meaning!

bedazzled by life? keeping the eye simple helps and good grounding friends! The sun is shining and  I'm sat here in my towel drying off, in 55 mins I will be heading for a country farmhouse in the High Peak Derbyshire  for my 'Letting Go Yoga & Art Retreat', but before I do I must post my haiku!
