Oh you weren't kidding! Pops of joy made me smile more and more as I scrolled down. Love these flowers. I paint them and have Georgia O'Keeffe prints in my home. JOY!
Believe it or not, I had never seen poppies before they bloomed before. They look almost like green figs. Your photos are so pretty. I especially like the way you've taken the photos as closeups. Have a joyful Thursday. -Lola from Buddhatropolis.com
dear sweet sue..... seeds, these poppy seeds....can you post some to me? i will gladly return the joy with mexican sunfower seeds in the colours of magenta sunsets...copper gold...
Sue, English Poppies! So beautiful! It is like a colorful party of crepe paper surprises. It does remind me of O'Keefe but more of Sue Fox and her incredible photography, oh my! I love the seeds too and your picture on glass is divine! And what is this of safe friends? Is there something else amiss that I had not heard about? or is this the same? Keep me in the loop if you can. Thank you for this beautiful post, Much Love Noelle x
The pink ones just blow me away -- they're much more intense a color than my pink ones, which are pretty pale pink. Did I ever tell you the story about going online to find sites selling poppies and getting flipped into porn sites? Oh my!
A friendly street light illuminates the dark path as does bright hellos! Just dropping in dears to say hello to all at Haiku my Heart, everyone in the haiku home, to say you are never far away from my thoughts those of you in the circle of friends in the birthplace of my ongoing love for small words with large meaning. Have a lovely weekend... love from foxysue Recuerda mi Corazon
Blossom of my loins laughter for a heavy heart chase away the day .... Today has been a heavy day, I have had a heavy heart, my haiku is late, load was lightened by laughter, sharing, caring For more haiku poetry visit Recuerda mi Corazon
The reflective image below is one taken of my south facing window, which is more like an altar to me because of the ever changing light that allows for embracing the moments of silent connection and praise. I take many photographs from this window as I marvel at the sun's energy to illuminate or in this case reveal through shadows and reflections. This image has been sitting in my file for sometime, it has a hidden message for me that I knew would one day surface... Heart broken open by the mystery of you... love stitches together. Gentle love rides pain like silken thread slips through jute spring balm for raw edge. Stitch with silken love the polarities of life embrace the mystery... Sending to Rebecca for healing... Your photos are stunning, both of the poppies and those amazing poppy pods!
