Focusing on My Dreams

These are shadows
of my expanding
dream container,
I'm starting
to draw my
attention
to the real thing,
the fine focus!

Dreams can be both joy inducing and daunting
at the same time.
Right now I'm focusing on something
important to me,
sometimes I just want it to slip
back into the shadows
where it can just be without real form.
But for dreams to come true
and bring me JOY
I must focus!

Sounds like you might have some planning going on! I like the transition from shadow to real thing in this sequence. Nice illustration of the words!

Dreams repair, in my view.
So glad that dainty item ( handbag) emerged unscathed.
Snap, as regards dreams.
No interpretation?
Gold stands for...what?
Wishful thinking?

May the dreams in your container grow more and more real until they burst into form more magical and heartening than you ever imagined.

I like how you creatively wrote this post...I agree with you about bringing joy into focus. I'm glad we have Share the Joy Thursday to do so! Peace, Olivia
Sue dear,
This is a very imaginative post and so beautiful. I thought for a moment you had gone over to the Jungian side of things and perhaps you have. Playing with shadows and dream states. It is all so fantastic. I love this and the transition you make is lovely. I am also reminded of Plato's world of forms. I hope that you are as transfigured by your dreams becoming a reality as your images in their transformation from shadow to actual form and color. May you be blessed with abundance in all things my dear friend and may your focus be sharp and insightful.
xoxo,
Noelle

the shadows can be frightening, they can also be safe, too safe. yes, we must risk the light to be set free.

What to Do?

Jamie Ridler asks in Wishcasting Wednesday - How would you like to spend some time? Good question for me at this time of year as I usually embark on some course or other for the winter months ahead, and as usual I'm not sure?  I go through  familiar questions, what do I really love and would like to spend time pursuing?  I've got qualifications in Fine Art and my heart is in photography, graphics, printmaking etc. But I'm torn because I'm also interested in Personal Development and have a yearning to share what I've learned so far with others in some way, especially on-line?  So what do I do? How do  I spend some time doing what I want to do, don't know, not sure but one thing I do know is that I need to spend more time puzzling it out? Or will it just come to me?  Do I spend more time meditating upon these ideas??? For other wishcaster wishes visit Jamie Ridler Studios

Morning has Broken

Yesterday the black dog came to visit me, the same black dog who  used to visit Winston Churchill. When my daughter came around, she could  see the black dog had turned up too and  that I was completely at his mercy. She made her leave with a simple kiss and goodbye,  "hope he goes soon", I nodded in agreement. For when he's around he completely  demands my attention and there's no shaking him loose! On retiring I sternly told the black dog I didn't understand the reason for his visit and that I thought I had sat with him for long enough  and to be gone in the morning! *** I've not seen him so far, this morning thank goodness !!! It is the beginning of a brand new day,  I am grateful for each day of my life...   I was at a funeral on Friday,  to say we'd anticipated a sad day all turned out most beautifully.... my favourite hymn was sung 'Morning has Broken' On this brand new day I'm sitting here tapping the k...
