It's Just the Way It Is!

Rebecca  of Recuerda mi Corazon asks
How did the sun rise in you this morning?

I have to answer with peace and tranquillity.
Yesterday's melancholy vanished in
the vapour of dawn
early whilst still sleeping,
slipping back to wherever it came from?
Some days are like this,
feeling like there is no sun, only clouds.
We know the sun rises everyday,
but we're just not feeling or seeing it!
Other days, it's brilliance is so overwhelming
illuminating every flower, leaf, shiny surface,
reflecting in every drop of water
as pools of heaven.

It's just the way it is!

Oh Sue,, these beautiful pictures.
Yes, there are darker days... I had mine today, and it became lighter after I had played with some watercolors... creativity helps so often.
Have a wonderful week.

LOVE that 3rd photo.

i love the rainy wind-swept days, but sometimes you just need the warmth and the light to shift things.

Haiku my Heart #12 Blossom

My Silken Altar

The reflective image below is one taken of my south facing window,  which is more like an altar to me because of the ever changing light that allows for embracing the moments of silent connection and praise. I take many photographs from this window as I marvel at the sun's energy  to illuminate or in this case reveal through shadows and reflections. This image has been sitting in my file for sometime, it has a hidden message for me that  I knew would one day surface...    Heart broken open by the mystery of you... love stitches together.  Gentle love rides pain like silken thread slips through jute spring balm for raw edge. Stitch with silken love the polarities of life  embrace the mystery... Sending to Rebecca for healing... Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
