Postcards from Paradise #6 Fashion Fandango

Sun sinking low in the studio,
thoughts turn to our own
fashion fandango ...
Do I go red? or gold?
Oh, the pleasures of paradise
at least for a few days!

May Day today and the return of
our
little house martins,
they made it
all the way
from
Africa!

All that distance to find this little island,
this little hamlet, this little cottage,
how clever is that?

Speaking of talent, I'm in awe of the incredible skills shown by all the artists
who have so generously given of themselves
to support Rebecca in

Gorgeous color contrasts Sue! Decisions, Decisions. I love that you are thinking of fashion trends and fun, and that gold lame torso in the photograph is to die for. Stunning! The Red Hibiscus Flowers are Magnificent and as glorious as May Day should be. If I am not mistaken, House Martins are from the Swallow family are they not? Back in the 80's there was an English indie pop band (a bit marxist in tone which is right up my alley) called The Housemartins. I doubt they were hanging round the cottage though or it would not be the peaceful place you love so much. Happy May Day my dear. Thank you for your beautiful images.
Love,
Noelle x

dear sue,

my cat has suddenly jumped on my desk and his head is draped across my arm. i can only type with my right hand. did you know i am left handed?
he is purring so loudly, can you hear him? i am not sure if it is the arrival of your house martins or his affection for colour and kindness that drew him so close.
but then everyone i know that knows you, feels the same!

i love you sue, happy may day!

Don't Blink

What rate ticketh clock? I blinked and a whole year passed or, was I dreaming? Somehow I seemed to have lost a whole year, it appears what I thought happened last year happened the year before! My sister who is twelve years my senior warned me about this ~ "wait until you get to my age then time really does fly"! Of course we'll never be able to confer! Still, living in the moment can feel like forever, because it is, I'm trying to make each beautiful moment count! Sharing with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
