They symbolise movement of life forward.. finally to sit and crave for their environs.. and they know.. stones know and wish they could feel too..or do they..

really like your 'ku.. a calming reflection as if breathing an eternity, waiting... almost naked
I like this haiku and I am sorry it took me so long to get to it! There is a strength and a power in old stone buildings. They hold memory longer than other places, it seems and they certainly have a longer history. I was trying to ascertain if the life of building itself was maintained by the fact that it had the power to call you home, and the call itself was the actual mode of escape. I can understand that. Here is a present for you. http://www.poetryfoundation.org/archive/print.html?id=181383

Love Lifts the Spirit Promises of spring, being satiated with love, lifts wintered spirits. Sending to Recuerda mi Corazon

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
