It looks like a sugar rose created as a culinary confection. Beautiful haiku.

still born of chill morn... really love that image and photograph. perfect
I think this is one of your most stunning photos that I have seen. The rose appears frozen in time rather than still born. It is beautiful, and fragile. It almost appears to be sheathed in frosted glass, reminding me of the story of Snow white who was alive and sealed in a glass coffin if you recall the tale. You have captured such a moment here and shared it with us. Your haiku is poignant and elicits feeling for something inanimate. That is a lot, really!

Noelle

What to Do?

Jamie Ridler asks in Wishcasting Wednesday - How would you like to spend some time? Good question for me at this time of year as I usually embark on some course or other for the winter months ahead, and as usual I'm not sure?  I go through  familiar questions, what do I really love and would like to spend time pursuing?  I've got qualifications in Fine Art and my heart is in photography, graphics, printmaking etc. But I'm torn because I'm also interested in Personal Development and have a yearning to share what I've learned so far with others in some way, especially on-line?  So what do I do? How do  I spend some time doing what I want to do, don't know, not sure but one thing I do know is that I need to spend more time puzzling it out? Or will it just come to me?  Do I spend more time meditating upon these ideas??? For other wishcaster wishes visit Jamie Ridler Studios

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
