Haiku my Heart

This is my first post linking to the beautiful blog of Rebecca at "recuerda mi corazon" I had never heard of the word haiku before but wanted to be part of the group that happens on Friday because such wonderful words and images are posted with lots of meaning.  So after Googling (although Rebecca does explain, I sort of missed it somehow!) this is my contribution, I think I've got the gist of it?

The Beauty Beneath,
Reflects the Beauty Above,
A Cyclical Source!

simply act of distillation.

i would love to sit in your picture, beside you, and share the wonder of it all.

You've got "English haiku" form down perfectly. Some people also do 3-5-3 haikus. And welcome! It's a great group.

Don't Blink

What rate ticketh clock? I blinked and a whole year passed or, was I dreaming? Somehow I seemed to have lost a whole year, it appears what I thought happened last year happened the year before! My sister who is twelve years my senior warned me about this ~ "wait until you get to my age then time really does fly"! Of course we'll never be able to confer! Still, living in the moment can feel like forever, because it is, I'm trying to make each beautiful moment count! Sharing with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
