Grief Story on the Hoof ~ Entry 8

Simply Hanging In ~
.
foxy bides her time
hanging in there on the rail
dreaming of Mr fox

A friend asked about self-care, how was I caring for myself?
The answer is simple, I look through the lens,
I line up some lusciousness, I click and create a story,
I edit, and then sometimes I haiku my story  ~

simply,
syllables,
five seven five!
I Haiku my Heart ~

I am mesmerized by this image, the way the two fit together and yet each tell their own story. Quite magical! And the perfect haiku to go with it!

I love how your art is holding your hand through your grief - providing an outlet, an expression, a witness. May she continue to walk with you...

What to Do?

Jamie Ridler asks in Wishcasting Wednesday - How would you like to spend some time? Good question for me at this time of year as I usually embark on some course or other for the winter months ahead, and as usual I'm not sure?  I go through  familiar questions, what do I really love and would like to spend time pursuing?  I've got qualifications in Fine Art and my heart is in photography, graphics, printmaking etc. But I'm torn because I'm also interested in Personal Development and have a yearning to share what I've learned so far with others in some way, especially on-line?  So what do I do? How do  I spend some time doing what I want to do, don't know, not sure but one thing I do know is that I need to spend more time puzzling it out? Or will it just come to me?  Do I spend more time meditating upon these ideas??? For other wishcaster wishes visit Jamie Ridler Studios

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
