Spiritual Sunday #3 Postcards from Paradise

does the sun always shine
in paradise?
not always, but the feeling is golden...
is paradise cloud free?
and pain-free?
not necessarily...
clouds and pain may sit side by side,
but when you are with the ones you love
it can still feel like paradise!
wishing you all a happy week

it is full of courage and light.
rarely is there a pain free moment in my physical body...and like you, i embrace clouds and challenges as if collecting armfuls of flowers.
thank you for your beauty and strength.

your spiritual sunday speaks straight to my heart.

Dearest Ms. Foxy... I love these sentiments. I walk this way in my journey through this life. Clouds and rain do not darken or dampen spirit at all, but i had to learn this. It was well worth it.

Peace to you and all you hold dear.

Rain and clouds can be very refreshing. Your photos are magnificent. I love the feeling they invoke. Feelings like courage, hope, love, nurture and nature. Thanks for playing today.

Dearest Sue,
I love your images of rain and the windswept coasts of England. You do remind us that although Paradise is not always perfect, never pain free, filled equally with both shadows and light ~ it is a place of our own making, surrounded by those we love and doing what is most important to us. I am reminded of Emily Dickinson's poem which I will leave here:

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!

The Color, on the Cruising Cloud—
The interdicted Land—
Behind the Hill—the House behind—
There—Paradise—is found!

Her teasing Purples—Afternoons—
The credulous—decoy—
Enamored—of the Conjuror—
That spurned us—Yesterday!

Continuum

A Continuum ~> continual sequence of ~> elemental change ~> By far this is the most difficult post written by myself, ever. I have not visited this place for sometime... I have been 'lying low' as an old friend used to put it, not low through depression or anything like that but since my love passed away parts of my known world have passed too. I have difficulty recognizing the landscape around me, I'm lying low so that I can absorb some of the new terrain. I am still quite dizzy, it's going to take some time... Much of what I wrote about here in this space would involve a brief glimpse of 'my love' and our life together. I had thought of closing 'Finding my Bliss', for a pivotal part of everything this blog has stood for seemed on the surface of things to be missing! But as the days have come and gone I am beginning to look at things in a different light and although I am grieving for my love I find I am l feeling his prese
