Sailing into Joy

Sometimes we're feeling it,
sometimes we're not ...
Sometimes our boat
has slipped right into the
doldrums
without our knowing
or
even run aground!
No matter how we heave and push we're going nowhere,
we know we must wait,
wait for the moment.

For we know that just as we
slipped into the gloom,
we will effortlessly slip away,
 in a moment.

In the blinking of an eye
 winds will change direction,
the tide will turn
and
off we go sailing into
JOY

oh sue...lovely sailing with you on your wisdom of peace.
thank you for the respite. for me it has a blustery day, i am completely exhausted...so moored on the sand edge and waiting is a welcome relief!
especially if the waiting is beside you!

much love,
rebecca

It seems like things are changing ever more quickly, that we're either feeling like we're sucked away by a rip tide or flung far inland by great waves of chaos. And then we wait -- for balance to be restored, for some hint of the meaning of it all. Beautiful, Sue.

Meri's comment seems visionary judging by what happened a day after it was placed here.

All of a sudden our own individual introspections don't seem so pertinent any longer....

Haiku my Heart #42 - Shine on

t'was just a sparkle peeping through the blacks and grey it filled my whole eye .... My daughter's car stands motionless on our drive, she is in hospital with severe stress symptoms. It has been a dark week, yesterday I noticed a sparkle reflecting off of her car through my window. She's been rattling up and down the motorway for the last year everyday to the job she loves and is fighting hard to keep. The car had so many rattles, now fixed by my love, it's washed, polished and resting-up waiting for her return. For more haiku poetry Visit Recuerda mi Corazon

Hello

A friendly street light illuminates the dark path as does bright hellos! Just dropping in dears to say hello to all at Haiku my Heart, everyone in the haiku home, to say you are never far away from my thoughts those of you in the circle of friends in the birthplace of my ongoing love for small words with large meaning. Have a lovely weekend... love from foxysue Recuerda mi Corazon

Snuggling up till spring...

Comfy and cosy feeling all loved up in the comfort of haiku... Just a quick line this week but thought I'd mention 'Doris' the storm that hit our shores.  On our walk through the church yard this morning there was quite a bit of damage, mainly to the trees up-rooting one altogether so that's why my Jasper and me are snuggling up till spring... Happy weekend all haiku lovers... Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
