Dearest Sue, Thank you for this beautiful and remarkably wistful post, filled with love and compassion for the Japanese people. Thank you for mentioning ShelterBox as well. I am moved beyond words by your heart-opening message. I pray for their lives and their future, especially the future of children. Much Love, Noelle
The whole world is praying, we all unite in the care for each other. Japan helped NZ after the earthquake in Christchurch last month and now a NZ team of experts is helping Japan. We all reach out to each other. Wonderful art and words.
I think we will all be absorbed with the tragedy of Japan for a long time to come. I pray the third hit of this triple tragedy - the nuclear power plants - will refocus the world on the need for better energy sources.
dear sweet sue, such beauty here magnified by love! thank you for mentioning shelter box. i am so thrilled to be a part of realizing the tangible gift from the blogging family to japan.
Very touching and the world extends a helping hand; we know somewhere deep within, that the land of the Rising Sun will rise up like a phoenix to shine once again!!
Hi Sue, The images and words are both incredible. I did not do a dream board this month. Well wishes sent your way. :)

I love that a haiku can be so simple and yet so poignant -exactly as you have captured here. Beautifully juxtaposed with stunning and impressive images -are they your own beautiful creations? Thank you x
Thank you for your comments, the images are mine but the oriental lady was collaged from a magazine. x

the beauty of love and compassion shines bright in your beautiful ku.... love the dimensional space within each art work, as if our prayers have reached across the short space and embraced their tragedy holding up those who cannot stand... thank you...
Dear Sue~ These paintings are so beautiful and meaningful! I love the image you evoked of our hearts reaching around the globe to Japan to touch the rising sun. Perfect, spare, moving Haiku.

A haiku seems most appropriate at this time as a vessel for our thoughts. Beautifully illustrated by you. A post both stirring and soothing at the same time.
A friendly street light illuminates the dark path as does bright hellos! Just dropping in dears to say hello to all at Haiku my Heart, everyone in the haiku home, to say you are never far away from my thoughts those of you in the circle of friends in the birthplace of my ongoing love for small words with large meaning. Have a lovely weekend... love from foxysue Recuerda mi Corazon
Blossom of my loins laughter for a heavy heart chase away the day .... Today has been a heavy day, I have had a heavy heart, my haiku is late, load was lightened by laughter, sharing, caring For more haiku poetry visit Recuerda mi Corazon
The reflective image below is one taken of my south facing window, which is more like an altar to me because of the ever changing light that allows for embracing the moments of silent connection and praise. I take many photographs from this window as I marvel at the sun's energy to illuminate or in this case reveal through shadows and reflections. This image has been sitting in my file for sometime, it has a hidden message for me that I knew would one day surface... Heart broken open by the mystery of you... love stitches together. Gentle love rides pain like silken thread slips through jute spring balm for raw edge. Stitch with silken love the polarities of life embrace the mystery... Sending to Rebecca for healing... Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
