dear sue, forgive me for this late visitation. it has been a long long day and i am only now making the haiku rounds. i went to your link...and my heart froze. there is no way to comprehend any act of violence and this one crushes on the hearts of so many. so much beauty and promise cut short..... a great loss to all.
i love your compassion. you are a comfort candle on a cold dark night.

thank you for sharing her life... your right she is a beautiful girl...
Sue, I am so deeply sorry. I left a message on Carola's blog. I don't know what else to do. Such a deep and profound and tragic loss. Thank you for being such a comfort and light to your friend. Blessings and Love, Noelle
Sue, I just saw this post. I can't tell you how touched I feel. I'm actually sitting here, crying. I had no idea that you had a post for me and links to my blog telling about Katie and Jesus. Thank you so much, my dear friend, and to everybody who left comments here. It IS of great comfort. For us it is still rather unreal, we struggle to comprehend it all. However, we (Katie's family and mine) talk a lot about Katie and how we remember her. It belongs to the healing process, and it's good to laugh together when we remember her quirky sense of humor. Thank you to all of you.
A friendly street light illuminates the dark path as does bright hellos! Just dropping in dears to say hello to all at Haiku my Heart, everyone in the haiku home, to say you are never far away from my thoughts those of you in the circle of friends in the birthplace of my ongoing love for small words with large meaning. Have a lovely weekend... love from foxysue Recuerda mi Corazon
Blossom of my loins laughter for a heavy heart chase away the day .... Today has been a heavy day, I have had a heavy heart, my haiku is late, load was lightened by laughter, sharing, caring For more haiku poetry visit Recuerda mi Corazon
The reflective image below is one taken of my south facing window, which is more like an altar to me because of the ever changing light that allows for embracing the moments of silent connection and praise. I take many photographs from this window as I marvel at the sun's energy to illuminate or in this case reveal through shadows and reflections. This image has been sitting in my file for sometime, it has a hidden message for me that I knew would one day surface... Heart broken open by the mystery of you... love stitches together. Gentle love rides pain like silken thread slips through jute spring balm for raw edge. Stitch with silken love the polarities of life embrace the mystery... Sending to Rebecca for healing...
