Advent Calendar of Gratitude #3

I am grateful on this day, 
Friday, 3rd December 2010,
to see through mind's eye
beautiful, soft souls sparkle
jewels on angora


I'm going to be traveling to London today
with my daughter Charlotte, weather permitting!
We'll be meeting with some of her young friends to visit the
Dior Illustration Exhibition
I'm so privileged and grateful!
.
It's snowing so I'll be wearing my pink angora hat with jewels!
just right for the capital hey?!

when it comes to the beauty of the Madonna.

You lucky thing!
If you mamage to get there that is.
If I were so lucky as to see the Dior exhib, I would wear my husband's ancient silk Dior tie (which I splashed out on decades hence). I wore Armani to the Armani exhibition (second-hand glory) way back and felt terrific.

Have a wonderful trip seeing the Dior Exhibit and donning that pink angora and pin. Hope someone takes a picture of that!
Love the Botticelli image. Appreciate the fact that it is a closeup as then one can truly appreciate and soak it all in.

t'was just a sparkle peeping through the blacks and grey it filled my whole eye .... My daughter's car stands motionless on our drive, she is in hospital with severe stress symptoms. It has been a dark week, yesterday I noticed a sparkle reflecting off of her car through my window. Haiku my Heart #49 ~ Numbers

 After yoga yesterday we discussed significant numbers, today being Friday 13th, unlucky for some they say! On the other hand the year 2012 is said to be an auspicious year, The Chinese Year of the Golden Dragon, taking place only once every 60 years .  It also happens to be a leap year so  that means the possibility of climbing my same old staircase an extra time this year! The number 300 is significant too  this being my  300th post!  whilst yesterday the 12th was my blog birthday 2 years! So what do these numbers all amount to? Can I count on them to calculate my life? Or are they just markers of time,  as illusory as my shadows? shadows behind me  light always falls to the front  illuminates now sending to  Postcards from Paradise Recuerda mi Corazon BTW this is my 49th Haiku  I'm sure this is a significant number! ;~) PS I'm really getting into this numbers thing,  apparently 7 is the perfe...
