Happiness is Sharing

Today is the day I usually think about the happy moments of the week to share with Jamie Ridler and all the other lovelies who join in reporting.  As I'm up early I thought I'd look to see who was on Mr Linky to get a bit of inspiration for my post as today, despite having lots of happy times recently I've been going through a 'rough patch' and I'm finding it a little difficult to shake off these sad feelings!  I know that embracing all of life's ups and downs is part of the deal for living, you can't just have ups there's downs too if you know what I mean?  Anyway the first post did give me a a jolt of inspiration, Suzie spoke about her love of hearts, which struck a chord with me, as I love hearts too, when I was a young girl I loved drawing them, there's something about the shape of them and of-course I was beginning to find out about all things of the heart at that time too!  But today I'm going to re-post my first ever pic on my first ever post because here lies one of the secret happy ingredients of my life - my love who no matter how sad I become he's always consistently cheery and there for me!

Thank you Suzie for the inspiration!

What a wonderful picture. It is so nice to have someone who is always there for you. I am not feeling sad today just incredibly tired. Maybe it is the heat. Reading your post has helped me get inspired and so now I am off to write my own. Have a great week full of hearts and smiles.

You are so very welcome! And what an honour it is to be mentioned, thank you. I know what rough patches are like, been in one for two and a half years now. Still, love always helps, doesn't it? That photo is right up my romantic alley, I LOVE/heart it very much. May our lives become lighter and easier very soon. Happy blessings to you!

Navigating Home

Well here I am again!  Wonder of wonders that I am even showing up at all in this little blog wilderness having uprooted my faithful old friend Finding my Bliss by way of messing up the template!  The one who safely sailed me through Bloglandia for all of those years was interfered with in an abrupt manner (see previous post).   I know it may sound silly but I feel like I am grieving for what was my sanctuary and residence, I am feeling kind of lost with nothing familiar to cling to, but alas I do have one place that is very much like home and so there I will share a little haiku with my friends... By way of haiku navigate a place called home the 'heart' gathering... On the subject of home and the insecurity of having no solid ground to tread on, that's where I am finding myself at present as I'm in the throws of purchasing a new home and going through a very sticky patch with the legalities of it all.  It's going at a snail's pace and I'

Gathering Myself

Today I'm taking a little me time, doing what I love to do, just digital doodling. My mind has been on dolls, motherhood, Mary and the coming season. Recently an acquaintance posted about  ' Rag Doll ',  this is me at the moment, I feel a bit like a rag doll, the stuffing has been knocked out a little. So I'm taking time to just be, to gather myself, to see where I can patch things up a bit, maybe a dash of rouge will do the trick!  I'm giving myself some 'Mary mother love'. I'm sending back my thanks via Virgin a Day Recuerda mi Corazon I once had a sweet little doll, dears, The prettiest doll in the world; Her cheeks were so red and so white; dears, And her hair was so charmingly curled. But I lost my poor little doll, dears, As I played in the heath one day; And I cried for her more than a week, dears; But I never could find where she lay. I found my poor
