Wish on a haiku
float through a window of love
greet hearts in mid air...
My window reflecting in the Christmas bauble.
Yesterday was a day of creative flow, I captured the mood and reflections...
The news of Mandela's death became all the more poignant after losing our dear Joe,
both great men in their own right, sharing a loving and giving spirit,
so I honour this week by using my window of time to share
the same message. Peace

Joining you in the prayers for peace, dear One !
and the haiku,
it is all so magical.
never give up the wish for peace...that's the message, isn't it? ♥ ♥
I had just been reflecting on Mandela's death this morning--it's deep significance--the end of an era, but more importantly, the weight and value of a soul that touched the lives of so many across the globe and brought Justice after 27 years imprisonment to a country built on a system of racial and ethnic apartheid. Joe, more than many men I know would have been the first to stand strong with "Mandiba". He would have sat in a sweat lodge with him around a sacred fire. Joe was a man who understood political hypocrisy. He was also a man who wanted to be of great help and to offer what he could to anyone who needed it. In that way, he and Mandela were similar. Both men of heart and spirit. Lovely post.
