12 Days of Mary Meditations #5

Wish on a haiku
float through a window of love
greet hearts in mid air...

My window reflecting in the Christmas bauble.
Yesterday was a day of creative flow, I captured the mood and reflections...
The news of Mandela's death became all the more poignant after losing our dear Joe,
both great men in their own right, sharing a loving and giving spirit,
so I honour this week by using my window of time to share
the same message. Peace

The simple message of peace is the most important message of all.
I didn't know either man personally but I certainly admired both of them and I'm sure they would appreciate your message of peace in their honour.

Dearest Sue,
I had just been reflecting on Mandela's death this morning--it's deep significance--the end of an era, but more importantly, the weight and value of a soul that touched the lives of so many across the globe and brought Justice after 27 years imprisonment to a country built on a system of racial and ethnic apartheid. Joe, more than many men I know would have been the first to stand strong with "Mandiba". He would have sat in a sweat lodge with him around a sacred fire. Joe was a man who understood political hypocrisy. He was also a man who wanted to be of great help and to offer what he could to anyone who needed it. In that way, he and Mandela were similar. Both men of heart and spirit. Lovely post.

Another facet of Bogereau's famous painting in your Christmas bauble. RIP Nelson Mandela and Joe Spado.

Peace right back to you Susan... and I like to think that Joe and Nelson have a drink together, talking and sharing their experiences and thoughts. Joe's spirit will always be among us on Fridays.

Continuum

A Continuum ~> continual sequence of ~> elemental change ~> By far this is the most difficult post written by myself, ever. I have not visited this place for sometime... I have been 'lying low' as an old friend used to put it, not low through depression or anything like that but since my love passed away parts of my known world have passed too. I have difficulty recognizing the landscape around me, I'm lying low so that I can absorb some of the new terrain. I am still quite dizzy, it's going to take some time... Much of what I wrote about here in this space would involve a brief glimpse of 'my love' and our life together. I had thought of closing 'Finding my Bliss', for a pivotal part of everything this blog has stood for seemed on the surface of things to be missing! But as the days have come and gone I am beginning to look at things in a different light and although I am grieving for my love I find I am l feeling his prese
