Confrontation

Sometimes we go into hiding, pulling our heads under the blanket when dark night creatures seem so close, we lie low and wait...  And yet in the waiting and being with our fears something new ascends out of that place,  for we have visited ourselves and discovered a beautiful thing ~ we have held strong.
Fear did not bring us to the floor, we stood our ground in the dark,
slowly lifting the cover, confronting fear eye to eye.

"Keep walking, though there's no place to get to.
Don't try to see through the distances, that's not for human beings.
Move within, but don't move the way fear makes you move."

~ Rumi

I love this Sue! So authentic! "...in the waiting and being with our fears something new ascends..." I was dealing with strong emotions this past weekend as well... Just being with it all, riding the waves... Sometimes that's all we can do. Am glad you emerged safely :) Heart Hugs...

my darling one,
please know my heart envelopes you as i place myself beside you to weather the storm.
i believe in you and in your wise words....to cherish all our parts, the bright and the dark, the whole and the broken, the fragile and the strong is to know love, to have compassion, to live fully.

Haiku my Heart #31 ~ Let's Party!

icing on the cake a sprinkling of honey dust Haiku Heart's Party  Congratulations Dear Rebecca  One year of Sweet Delights! Visit  Recuerda mi Corazon

Don't Blink

What rate ticketh clock? I blinked and a whole year passed or, was I dreaming? Somehow I seemed to have lost a whole year, it appears what I thought happened last year happened the year before! My sister who is twelve years my senior warned me about this ~ "wait until you get to my age then time really does fly"! Of course we'll never be able to confer! Still, living in the moment can feel like forever, because it is, I'm trying to make each beautiful moment count! Sharing with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
