Feelings #2

Yesterday my feelings were fragile,
we had planned a break by the ocean,
but had to come home early ~
I was not feeling well.
Today I had a ~~>

I had intended to draw whilst away, so not to be thwarted
I got my pencils and paper out this morning and
started some observational drawing.
But do you know what
It wasn't 'floating my boat'.

I knew exactly where my boat would float though and, do so for hours ~
yes my joy floats right here on this old computer screen,
I load some images from my picture files
then I am a happy bunny,
I play and play all day,
my calling you
might say.....

Beautiful as always! You are truly gifted! Wonderful expressions of your Soul! Am glad that it gives you such bliss... I would love to learn how to do what you do. Too bad we aren't neighbors :)

Is that a photograph or a painting? I think you found your niche, whatever it is. Nice haiku.

It's good to know what brings you contentment...to have a place to come home to after other explorations.

Beautiful. I think of oaks and willows. Strength and delicacy side by side.
Glad that meeting with other haiku hearts helps to set your colors free!

wow, that break just wasn't meant to be!

i was really lucky to discover and enjoy digital art when my girl was 1-2yrs, as it meant i could dabble without getting out lots of materials. i could work on an image for HOURS! loved it.

i often think about it, especially after looking at your work, but now i'm called to messier things.... ;)

we have to go with the creative gut calling.

I used to paint. Due to disabilty I can no longer do so. My canvas is now photoshop, my paintbrush is my camera and that floats my boat!

wow Sue...these flowers are stunning. There is so much mysticism and strength in them... one that I rarely see...one that's all feminine divine.

Haiku my Heart # 53

Love Lifts the Spirit Promises of spring, being satiated with love, lifts wintered spirits. Sending to Recuerda mi Corazon

Don't Blink

What rate ticketh clock? I blinked and a whole year passed or, was I dreaming? Somehow I seemed to have lost a whole year, it appears what I thought happened last year happened the year before! My sister who is twelve years my senior warned me about this ~ "wait until you get to my age then time really does fly"! Of course we'll never be able to confer! Still, living in the moment can feel like forever, because it is, I'm trying to make each beautiful moment count! Sharing with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
