Panning for Gold

Today
finds me
panning
for gold,
~>
~>
'daisies
are
my silver,
buttercups
my gold'.

I didn't find
buttercups
but I
did find
the
forsythia
being
drenched
by spring
rain.
'Every cloud has
silver lining'
so they say.
Whilst
I have been
pot-bound
I've nearly
finished
baby fox's
shawl!
Plus I kick my pot
off on Tuesday! 44 hrs!

Oh and the other good thing that happened this week, our pond has been planted with reeds,
water irises and wild flowers .

I'm thinking a willow arbor and seat
for me and my love!  What do you think?

Good morning, Sue. Your pond photo is as pretty as a painting. So pastoral I expect ducks to gently paddle their way into the picture. And, yes, a willow arbor and seat must be put in to finish it off.

oh forsythia unfurling beneath a welcoming rain. spring will rise up to greet you. open armed and two footed you will greet her ever so soon! (insert sigh of relief)

i love every time you write the words baby fox!

someday i would love to come visit you and sit beside your beautiful self...beside the peaceful pond and let our stories fill the hopeful air.

p.s. you are always in my heart.

A wee Fox -- how divine! And the news about your pond is wonderful. It should make it even more lovely.

Oh sweet spring! Your pond is a magical place...I would love to sit under a willow shelter and watch it come to life.

I think your plan for the pond sounds romantic. Anticipation and creation is sometimes as joyous as the actual end result, I think. Don't know what you mean about the pot, but I'm glad you took this time to make the Fox baby shawl. Looking forward to seeing it.

Gold, silver, forsythia beginning to bloom and the planting of a pond. Looks like spring and all the magic that it brings~~ even a wee fox soon. I hope you are well, Sue.

Don't Blink

What rate ticketh clock? I blinked and a whole year passed or, was I dreaming? Somehow I seemed to have lost a whole year, it appears what I thought happened last year happened the year before! My sister who is twelve years my senior warned me about this ~ "wait until you get to my age then time really does fly"! Of course we'll never be able to confer! Still, living in the moment can feel like forever, because it is, I'm trying to make each beautiful moment count! Sharing with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
