Pond Blessing

Today I have a little more
hop in my hop!
a little more spring in my step,
I can actually move around better in my cast.
I even managed some light chores stood on one leg!
What is giving me added Joy is the prospect
of the sun's return, for this year we
will be witnessing brand new life forming!
Our pond's first season of growth
and with the sun's help
we're hoping for an abundance of
wildlife to find it's way here.
The National Trust will be planting
wild flower and grasses,
we hope some winged creatures will take
a fancy to our pond too,
maybe even a swan!
We are planning a little initiation ceremony
for the spring equinox, kind of a blessing on the pond.
A few candles set afloat on the water
that sort of thing, if anyone has any
more suggestions to make
this special I would be
over-Joyed
to hear from you.

Sending over to the
Joy gatherer

you are stirring my primal heart in deep delight. a pond, the promise of spring. the song of frogs, the chance for swans. the sheer beauty of living a life reflecting the exquisite beauty of the day and night sky. i am not sure there could be a more loved and revered heart center for the natural world then a pond.

i wait with wonder and sweet expectation as do swans, frogs, tiny silver fish, tall regal cranes and an occasional family of foxes.

just
checking in
on your mobility...

{{ float flower*petals
on your pond
during the spring equinox
to bring
Abundance of Life;
i float them down our creek
in times of approaching drought,
one
never
knows... }}

I'm thrilled to hear you're getting around a bit better. Even more thrilled to hear the pond progress and see the image of the swan family. The pond behind my house has no swans, but it provides me with no end of delight being able to watch the finches and redwing blackbirds in spring, the mallards with their babies in spring and summer, the eagle fishing or getting chased by crows year-round.

A pond blessing--a wonderous and rich event welcoming both the pond and the coming spring. Your photos couldn't be more beautiful.

Oh, yes floating candles....in Hawaii tiny paper boats are sent out to sea with flaming candles. It is a sight to behold. Yours will be as beautiful. Your photographs are exquisite, they transport me to a beautiful place on this earth. Thank you.

Love Lifts the Spirit Promises of spring, being satiated with love, lifts wintered spirits. Sending to Recuerda mi Corazon

Don't Blink

What rate ticketh clock? I blinked and a whole year passed or, was I dreaming? Somehow I seemed to have lost a whole year, it appears what I thought happened last year happened the year before! My sister who is twelve years my senior warned me about this ~ "wait until you get to my age then time really does fly"! Of course we'll never be able to confer! Still, living in the moment can feel like forever, because it is, I'm trying to make each beautiful moment count! Sharing with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
