Virgins, Creativity & Gratitude #7

This has been a surreal journey
of dizzying heights, I'm seeing Mary
from every angle in all her
beauteous forms.
Thinking on Mary and the glitter
of the season as I leafed through
some magazines I couldn't
resist the temptation to tear a few pages
for my favourite art-form collage.

Day 7 contribution ~
Collage Mary, Queen of the Heavens

It also happens to be my sister's wedding anniversary,
we are out celebrating tonight,
I dedicate this collage to Dallas who was a
beauty queen herself once,
and still is!

Grateful for sister love.

Love your creativity. Is that your sister's photo in the center. Looks like a real person. My only sister died at age 32 when I was 34. That was almost 40 years ago. She is a saint in heaven to me. This makes me think of her.Blessings

Love your Mary collage!!!
Sue,
This is your creativity at its best. So beautiful and full of love and light. I am so uplifted by it. And of course it has to do with the celebration of a loved one. You are so connected to family and Mary has made that connection ever stronger. I love the butterflies in this collage ~transformation, always transformation and dreaming forward. Beautiful! Thank you for your lovely words today. I couldn't get here till now because of work. Much love to you and have fun tonight with your sister.
xoxo,
Noelle
Collage is my own favorite art medium and I love your modern day Mary. Congratulations to your sister-in-law and brother.

Continuum

A Continuum ~> continual sequence of ~> elemental change ~> By far this is the most difficult post written by myself, ever. I have not visited this place for sometime... I have been 'lying low' as an old friend used to put it, not low through depression or anything like that but since my love passed away parts of my known world have passed too. I have difficulty recognizing the landscape around me, I'm lying low so that I can absorb some of the new terrain. I am still quite dizzy, it's going to take some time... Much of what I wrote about here in this space would involve a brief glimpse of 'my love' and our life together. I had thought of closing 'Finding my Bliss', for a pivotal part of everything this blog has stood for seemed on the surface of things to be missing! But as the days have come and gone I am beginning to look at things in a different light and although I am grieving for my love I find I am l feeling his prese

Warrior Woman Detour

Yearning clear blue skies to brighten the road for ease, to step light of heart... Detour intersect is warrior woman's path she must tread alone, her only companion Om lifts a weighted heart... feeling vibrational warmth, she lights momentum... My heart is weighed down at the moment, we are waiting for scan results, my love has been in constant debilitating pain since before Christmas, I'm having a nasty IBS flare-up, I'm doing warrior woman work! I am grateful for this Friday morning ritual ~ Haiku my Heart, it is a wonderful distraction from the everyday, focusing on and fitting feelings into 575 syllables...
