Haiku for Virgins, Creativity & Gratitude #9

Painterly Mary
may I delight for all-time
in your flouncing skirts
in whatever light I find you!

I thought I'd get the paints out,
they have been in a dark cupboard.
In this case not actually paint but
water based dye and rub-on metallic for those interested,
photo taken in two different artificial lights.

sue,
She is absolutely delightful! She is fairylike and beautiful. In fact, she looks much like Botticelli's women. All his goddesses were pregnant. I wonder if you were thinking of your daughter in law. Such a beautiful coloring of dyes you chose. It was such a pleasant and joyful surprise.

Mary is beautiful!
She is so beautiful and I love that she is painterly. I haven't used my own metallic rub on paints for years. I have to dig mine out as I really like the colors you created.

What to Do?

Jamie Ridler asks in Wishcasting Wednesday - How would you like to spend some time? Good question for me at this time of year as I usually embark on some course or other for the winter months ahead, and as usual I'm not sure?  I go through  familiar questions, what do I really love and would like to spend time pursuing?  I've got qualifications in Fine Art and my heart is in photography, graphics, printmaking etc. But I'm torn because I'm also interested in Personal Development and have a yearning to share what I've learned so far with others in some way, especially on-line?  So what do I do? How do  I spend some time doing what I want to do, don't know, not sure but one thing I do know is that I need to spend more time puzzling it out? Or will it just come to me?  Do I spend more time meditating upon these ideas??? For other wishcaster wishes visit Jamie Ridler Studios

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
