A Stroll around my Neighbourhood

Did you know?
I have a famous neighbour?
Though she's not actually alive now,
least, not on this plane!

We often go round by my neighbour's house,
it's just over the hedge from my back garden.
One of the things my neighbour's house
is famous for is it's windows.
When the house was built late 16th century,
windows and glass were a luxury,
in fact you might say
they were as valuable as gold!
Golden Windows!
Today we had a leisurely stroll
through our neighbour's garden
it was beautiful,
as the golden evening sun
hit the ice water on one of the
seven ponds.

Next Sunday I'll show the entrance to our neighbour's house.

I love the sunlight reflecting on the windows of the neighbour's home, they're like jewels.

Just dropping in dears to say hello to all at Haiku my Heart, everyone in the haiku home, to say you are never far away from my thoughts those of you in the circle of friends in the birthplace of my ongoing love for small words with large meaning. My Silken Altar

The reflective image below is one taken of my south facing window,  which is more like an altar to me because of the ever changing light that allows for embracing the moments of silent connection and praise. I take many photographs from this window as I marvel at the sun's energy  to illuminate or in this case reveal through shadows and reflections. This image has been sitting in my file for sometime, it has a hidden message for me that  I knew would one day surface...    Heart broken open by the mystery of you... love stitches together.  Gentle love rides pain like silken thread slips through jute spring balm for raw edge. Stitch with silken love the polarities of life  embrace the mystery... Sending to Rebecca for healing... Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
