Oh yes, the Virgin Mother, being just that. Wonderful painting no matter how the artist held the tools. Great post.

Peace to you Ms. Foxy
Sue,
I love coming here and seeing your friends and family. It warms my heart in a way you cannot imagine. It is like visiting really because you offer such an openness in doing it. Thank you. I am grateful for that! I love this little nativity scene and I am reminded of Christy Brown and the story of 'My Left Foot' if you are familiar with it. My own mother had Parkinson's disease and found that drawing and painting was something that gave her great joy and solace. I love that you posted this. Thank you for your lovely words on my blog yesterday.
xoxo,
Noelle

I was thinking the same thing as Deb - batik. I was surprised to see that it was painted by mouth. The control is spectacular. I've also been meaning to asking you were you found the wonderful advent calendar.

I love today's virgin, and even more when I learned that it is mouth-painted. It is so beautiful and touching at the same time.

What courage and determination this artist has to paint this beautiful nativity scene.
There is no limit as to what we can do if we just let ourselves discover them! The mouth painting is very humbling along with a sense of awe.
Our attitudes and beliefs (or lack thereof I suppose) are our greatest limitations.
What a lovely trip you seemed to have had!

Don't Blink

What rate ticketh clock? I blinked and a whole year passed or, was I dreaming? Somehow I seemed to have lost a whole year, it appears what I thought happened last year happened the year before! My sister who is twelve years my senior warned me about this ~ "wait until you get to my age then time really does fly"! Of course we'll never be able to confer! Still, living in the moment can feel like forever, because it is, I'm trying to make each beautiful moment count! Sharing with Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
