They all Know...

It is one whole year since my love departed.
This place looks pretty much the same without him except the crows are missing,
they seemed to have disappeared about the same time as he did as I recall.
The crow family and my love had a special relationship they
always hung out together by the old stones up stream...

The House Martins didn't show up either this year I think they got word from the crows.
Oh and the frogs decided not to spawn in the still pool under the bridge, for the first time ever!
But, the Wisteria has blossomed like she has never blossomed before!
I think she is giving me a show stopping finale for she knows the time has come...

I'm just waiting for the final go-ahead and then ~
I must say goodbye to this old cottage, these old stones
that have sheltered me for almost sixteen years
I must let go and Trust that there will be
a new chapter for me,
a new beginning
and
that I will survive,
alone, but not lonely!

Ahhhh - so sweet... Yes, all of Nature seems to know when it's time to move in order to survive, to find new places in which to thrive... I hope you get to spread your wings and fly soon... OXC

may the creatures accompany and guide you as you step out on this next journey and may you always remember you do not walk alone, friend.

how gorgeous is that wisteria! n of my favourite flowering plants. there is much symbolism attached to this plant, but a few of them are; love, releasing burdens, and immortality.

Oh my sweet Sue
one year
and you are still standing...lungs filled with the breath of a new day
so much more awaits you
and I know your love wants you to step into it as he smiles and watches the unfolding of you
you are rich with so much...even with the grief because the grief says there was love alive ... love that still remains till you breathe you last breath...for you loved and were loved...rich, yes, so rich

lonely, but never alone....Amen

love and light

Haiku my Heart #42 - Shine on

t'was just a sparkle peeping through the blacks and grey it filled my whole eye .... My daughter's car stands motionless on our drive, she is in hospital with severe stress symptoms. It has been a dark week, yesterday I noticed a sparkle reflecting off of her car through my window. She's been rattling up and down the motorway for the last year everyday to the job she loves and is fighting hard to keep. The car had so many rattles, now fixed by my love, it's washed, polished and resting-up waiting for her return. For more haiku poetry Visit Recuerda mi Corazon

Haiku my Heart #49 ~ Numbers

After yoga yesterday we discussed significant numbers, today being Friday 13th, unlucky for some they say! On the other hand the year 2012 is said to be an auspicious year, The Chinese Year of the Golden Dragon, taking place only once every 60 years .  It also happens to be a leap year so  that means the possibility of climbing my same old staircase an extra time this year! The number 300 is significant too  this being my  300th post!  whilst yesterday the 12th was my blog birthday 2 years! So what do these numbers all amount to? Can I count on them to calculate my life? Or are they just markers of time,  as illusory as my shadows? shadows behind me  light always falls to the front  illuminates now sending to  Postcards from Paradise Recuerda mi Corazon BTW this is my 49th Haiku  I'm sure this is a significant number! ;~) PS I'm really getting into this numbers thing,  apparently 7 is the perfe...
