The Art of Distraction #1

Sometimes when the day starts off foggy, grey, lacking in focus and clarity,
there's just no other option but to find your colours,
whether they be paint, cloth, clay or collage ~ whatever?
Just so long as they fully submerge the grey stuff,
if you know what I mean?

Actually Mary came to me with this by way of ~

Your photograph is truly
exceptional...wow!
♥♥
Wonderful photo. Wonderful transformation! The bottom
piece looks like it has a
dragonfly - symbol of joy
and light, and expressing
ourselves creatively! :)
Very nice...

"to find your colors" - i love this way of thinking and breaking through the gray of a day. today, it was bright but spotted with rain and grayness - and amid it all i found myself straining to find a rainbow across the sky. seeking that possibility of color.

dear one,
you truly are a harbinger of light. i remember england's pewter skies, all those gray low hanging clouds. quieting the colours of life with a heaviness that seemed to cling to all the edges of life. now, through knowing you; when i think of england all i see is an outpouring of jubilant light!
you colour my world beautiful!
"Now" is an opportune time to be happy, don't you think? :)

Yes. We are responsible for our own happiness. Looking inward shows our answer. Outward happiness from others is only fleeting.

I am learning, slowly, to sit with the foggy and dark times.. because for me, there is where i find my wisdom and clarity.. and yes, often Mary is there sitting with me patiently xoxo

Continuum

A Continuum ~> continual sequence of ~> elemental change ~> By far this is the most difficult post written by myself, ever. I have not visited this place for sometime... I have been 'lying low' as an old friend used to put it, not low through depression or anything like that but since my love passed away parts of my known world have passed too. I have difficulty recognizing the landscape around me, I'm lying low so that I can absorb some of the new terrain. I am still quite dizzy, it's going to take some time... Much of what I wrote about here in this space would involve a brief glimpse of 'my love' and our life together. I had thought of closing 'Finding my Bliss', for a pivotal part of everything this blog has stood for seemed on the surface of things to be missing! But as the days have come and gone I am beginning to look at things in a different light and although I am grieving for my love I find I am l feeling his prese
