All Change

I'm introducing more colour into my life
as signified by my new header,
it has been grey for to~o~o long!

Grey has a place I know,
quite restful actually,
a place to slow down
and just Be,
to contemplate,
gain some perspective.

Several natural awakenings have taken place through my 'ordeal',
the time has come for change, some small changes,
some tall, that is a 'tall order' for me,
requiring a dash of brave commitment!

I want to keep it simple, but yet meaningful,
not bogged down with too much detail, the balance of simplicity and interest is my aim!

Sundays I'm going to be talking about Yoga and my 'awakening', hope you will pop by!

On the subject of simplicity and minimalism I'm ~>

Your image takes my breath away.

What a lovely composition! The muted tones are peaceful and I love the feeling of looking up. Thank you for sharing your art with Photo Art Friday!
So interesting to hear of the changes that are underway for you! Can hardly wait to hear about your "awakening"! I too have been one to find the grey place quite restful and contemplative - but I can also get stuck there, like recently. Then yesterday I noticed a shift just came over me, like something inside is "waking up" again, and I'm feeling more alive. Was totally unexpected. So I'm ready to explore this new place and see where it takes me. We can compare notes :)

Such an interesting perspective to photograph. I have to remind myself to 'look up' occasionally!
The color grey against the sky along with our words is quite wonderful.

This is really interesting and cool looking. I love the tones of the piece and how your eye is drawn upwards to the sky.

Haiku my Heart # 53

Love Lifts the Spirit Promises of spring, being satiated with love, lifts wintered spirits. Sending to Recuerda mi Corazon

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished! Morning has Broken

Yesterday the black dog came to visit me, the same black dog who  used to visit Winston Churchill. When my daughter came around, she could  see the black dog had turned up too and  that I was completely at his mercy. She made her leave with a simple kiss and goodbye,  "hope he goes soon", I nodded in agreement. For when he's around he completely  demands my attention and there's no shaking him loose! On retiring I sternly told the black dog I didn't understand the reason for his visit and that I thought I had sat with him for long enough  and to be gone in the morning! *** I've not seen him so far, this morning thank goodness !!! It is the beginning of a brand new day,  I am grateful for each day of my life...   I was at a funeral on Friday,  to say we'd anticipated a sad day all turned out most beautifully.... my favourite hymn was sung 'Morning has Broken' On this brand new day I'm sitting here tapping the k...
