Blurry

My trembling fingers
create artistic blurring
cloud's silver lining!

I have been unwell since before Christmas,
one of the symptoms was a loss of co-ordination and trembling hands,
the camera seemed too heavy for my fingers.
I'm glad to say the fog seems to be lifting,
once again I'm wielding my camera and more importantly
the desire to capture images and play with them has resurfaced!

Really my illness is becoming a little blurry too,
but because it was so severe losing about a stone in weight,
along with deep anxiety about the diagnosis of the scary tests
I want to remember all the painful details because some life affirming messages/changes have occurred,
an awakening of sorts!

that your fog is clearing makes my heart lift!
Such intense and scary times dear Sue... Am glad that it seems to be lifting, and that you are able to get back to what you love - creating with your camera! Am excited to hear that you were able to extract some life affirming messages through all this! Interesting how illness can work that way - opens us in a way that we didn't know could happen... Let's hope you are moving through this to health again! BE well!

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished! Morning has Broken

Yesterday the black dog came to visit me, the same black dog who  used to visit Winston Churchill. When my daughter came around, she could  see the black dog had turned up too and  that I was completely at his mercy. She made her leave with a simple kiss and goodbye,  "hope he goes soon", I nodded in agreement. For when he's around he completely  demands my attention and there's no shaking him loose! On retiring I sternly told the black dog I didn't understand the reason for his visit and that I thought I had sat with him for long enough  and to be gone in the morning! *** I've not seen him so far, this morning thank goodness !!! It is the beginning of a brand new day,  I am grateful for each day of my life...   I was at a funeral on Friday,  to say we'd anticipated a sad day all turned out most beautifully.... my favourite hymn was sung 'Morning has Broken' On this brand new day I'm sitting here tapping the k...
