My Tribe

The outset was dubious
I was all alone,
but
I wanted to find a tribe of my own,
I wanted kinfolk with whom I could share
some abstract thoughts,
an image, a care.
The meetings seemed tenuous
and sketchy to start,
as I posted my pictures,
my words and my art,
but slowly they came one by one,
a cheery hello,
a very well done,
and the days that followed
I was lifted up high,
it felt like magic, I really could fly!
So I'm sending this message on the next tide,
to
Postcards from Paradise,
my sisters, my tribe,

A very big thank you straight from my heart,
for sharing my journey,
for being a part.

What to Do?

Jamie Ridler asks in Wishcasting Wednesday - How would you like to spend some time? Good question for me at this time of year as I usually embark on some course or other for the winter months ahead, and as usual I'm not sure?  I go through  familiar questions, what do I really love and would like to spend time pursuing?  I've got qualifications in Fine Art and my heart is in photography, graphics, printmaking etc. But I'm torn because I'm also interested in Personal Development and have a yearning to share what I've learned so far with others in some way, especially on-line?  So what do I do? How do  I spend some time doing what I want to do, don't know, not sure but one thing I do know is that I need to spend more time puzzling it out? Or will it just come to me?  Do I spend more time meditating upon these ideas??? For other wishcaster wishes visit Jamie Ridler Studios

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
