Spiritual Sunday #5 ~ Hungry

he who lacks his daily bread
for him the day is very long"

i love that you are speaking of hunger while i am thinking of thirst...
we are both reflecting on spiritual sustenance, of light, and birds.

i love you sue and wish we could meet in the middle...what lies mid way?

yes, there is definitely a theme here... such a creative image to illustrate the rumi quote...

Lovely creation and wonderful haiku ~ perhaps it is the season of thirst and hunger for the 'newness' ~ thanks, namaste, carol (A Creative Harbor)

Such simple words, but such deep thoughts. Your image is wonderful, I lingered long looking at it.

How easy it is to take bread for granted!

What to Do?

Jamie Ridler asks in Wishcasting Wednesday - How would you like to spend some time? Good question for me at this time of year as I usually embark on some course or other for the winter months ahead, and as usual I'm not sure?  I go through  familiar questions, what do I really love and would like to spend time pursuing?  I've got qualifications in Fine Art and my heart is in photography, graphics, printmaking etc. But I'm torn because I'm also interested in Personal Development and have a yearning to share what I've learned so far with others in some way, especially on-line?  So what do I do? How do  I spend some time doing what I want to do, don't know, not sure but one thing I do know is that I need to spend more time puzzling it out? Or will it just come to me?  Do I spend more time meditating upon these ideas??? For other wishcaster wishes visit Jamie Ridler Studios

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
