Full Wolf Moon - Mum

Yesterday Saturday, 30th January 2010 saw the first full moon of the decade - the Full Wolf Moon, the significance of the 'Wolf Moon' is that they are often heard howling at this time of the year as they search for food. My daughter and I decided to vision along with Jamie Ridler's group of creative dream-boarders for the Full Wolf Moon.

I have been talking about this for some time now since attending a 'Law of Attraction' seminar. I became keen to assemble my own vision board and decided to see what was on the internet as I wanted to be part of a community of like minded creative explorers, and after some searching I came across Jamie's blog which encourages this tool as a means to self awareness and creativity, so these are our very first dream board contributions.

We collected the images and words that spoke to us, or we felt drawn to over a couple of weeks, then yesterday we set about intuitively assembling them on stretched canvas boards. We both felt captivated by the experience as we bonded - mum and daughter.

With my blank canvas in front of me, I thought about what it is that I'm searching for? But then I decided not to think about anything and just select the images and words to assemble intuitively, I love to meditate so this comes easily to me, I soon got into the flow and the result was very surprising:

I'd previously been to see the film 'Avatar' and was moved by the gentle spirit of the 'Avatar world', this clearly came out in my vision board: The elongated woman figure with flowing pink locks, being both hair and wings at the same time, represents flight and freedom. Next, the sleeping lady in the middle of the sea scene is me dreaming of my daughter, who is walking in the water so relaxed in her tranquil world. Oh, and then there I am tending my garden, watering my dreams, 'finding my bliss' can you see me?
Yes it's all there what I'm visioning for this year.

What a sense of rhythm and movement. It feels like all of these dreams are streaming out of the woman near the top on the left. As they flow out of her, they come into being.

May all of your dreams come true!

Thank you Jamie for commenting on my vision board, I've not been online for a few days on account of having my kitchen dismantled - I'm in the process of renovating! This is the first comment on my blog - you have made my day!

Continuum

A Continuum ~> continual sequence of ~> elemental change ~> By far this is the most difficult post written by myself, ever. I have not visited this place for sometime... I have been 'lying low' as an old friend used to put it, not low through depression or anything like that but since my love passed away parts of my known world have passed too. I have difficulty recognizing the landscape around me, I'm lying low so that I can absorb some of the new terrain. I am still quite dizzy, it's going to take some time... Much of what I wrote about here in this space would involve a brief glimpse of 'my love' and our life together. I had thought of closing 'Finding my Bliss', for a pivotal part of everything this blog has stood for seemed on the surface of things to be missing! But as the days have come and gone I am beginning to look at things in a different light and although I am grieving for my love I find I am l feeling his prese
