Night Vision

At the moment I'm feeling a bit stuck,
groping about in the dark, can't wait for daylight to see.
I'm on a journey but can't quite make out where the next stop off is...

I want my view to be clear and colourful,
with lots of beauty and inspiration so I can see clearly where I am going,
which turn off to take, but the truth of the matter is things are a little obscure and monochrome...

But, I have learned by now to look for beauty here too in the flat monochrome, to rest awhile with what is. I've come to realize and appreciate we need these quite times, it's like the scripture says ~ "there is a season for everything under the sun". Perhaps that is why I am so in-tune with trees in their winter state, their season for repose.
I know their sap will begin to rise soon, if not already, and then whoosh!
Away we will all go, bursting forth with the colours of life!

it takes quite a bit of faith and trust to be in that monochrome. not just to breathe through it, but to fully embrace it.

Thanks Mon, actually I do have to keep reminding myself to 'embrace' what is, the natural tendency is to resist...x

That monochrome world can be viewed as a gift. There are no distractions. I'm currently living in a frozen world and somewhere a church bell is singing.
Love it! Love it! Photos exquisite. Yes, we want everything to be light and clear and "happy", but the "darkness" is also part of "the journey" - not a "bad" thing. The Divine is in the "darkness" too. It is not the absence of light, as your photos show, but the very womb of creation. It is the ultimate Mystery of Being....

I love that you are embracing where you are, and allowing yourself to experience it... I've been feeling it too, but am resting in the womb of the Divine. :)

Navigating Home

Well here I am again!  Wonder of wonders that I am even showing up at all in this little blog wilderness having uprooted my faithful old friend Finding my Bliss by way of messing up the template!  The one who safely sailed me through Bloglandia for all of those years was interfered with in an abrupt manner (see previous post).   I know it may sound silly but I feel like I am grieving for what was my sanctuary and residence, I am feeling kind of lost with nothing familiar to cling to, but alas I do have one place that is very much like home and so there I will share a little haiku with my friends... By way of haiku navigate a place called home the 'heart' gathering... On the subject of home and the insecurity of having no solid ground to tread on, that's where I am finding myself at present as I'm in the throws of purchasing a new home and going through a very sticky patch with the legalities of it all.  It's going at a snail's pace and I'
