Contemplating the Mary Journey

She could have been anyone's
daughter,
sister,
friend
or
lover...

the details I could not say....
for she was travelling alone like the rest of us,
on a journey to somewhere, this we had in common
and, she was alone with her thoughts too like me
it seemed, heavy or light I could not be sure,
but for sure both would play their part on
some scale sooner or later, and like
me and you she would
need a mother
for,
we all do.

my dear friend, i love your image...so universal and immediate, the thoughts of a woman's heart playing out against the moving backdrop of life. and so it is for us all. at once hidden and exposed, our inner most yearnings, the hard work of being reborn every day.
your compassion rings out and touches me deeply. aren't we all sojourners of the heart? at once mother, and yet still child. at once healer, and also the healed.
xoxo

Indeed! I will carry this image with me today

a stunning image, dredging into the heart of her stillness! I think our need for a mother never leaves us.

Haiku my Heart # 53

Rise

Learn from the Lupin, when rain clouds gather and burst take a bow, then rise. Hiya all, just got back from a small break by the sea, it filled my soul right to the brim!  These beautiful Lupins made a statement to me on my return so I thought I'd share it with all you haiku folks! Have a great weekend, should be back with news about the fox cub soon, seems he's too comfy in the womb!  Or waiting til the rain clouds are banished!
