What to Do?

Jamie Ridler asks in Wishcasting Wednesday -
How would you like to spend some time?

Good question for me at this time of year as I usually embark on some course or other for the winter months ahead, and as usual I'm not sure?  I go through  familiar questions, what do I really love and would like to spend time pursuing?  I've got qualifications in Fine Art and my heart is in photography, graphics, printmaking etc. But I'm torn because I'm also interested in Personal Development and have a yearning to share what I've learned so far with others in some way, especially on-line?  So what do I do? How do  I spend some time doing what I want to do, don't know, not sure but one thing I do know is that I need to spend more time puzzling it out? Or will it just come to me?  Do I spend more time meditating upon these ideas???

As Sue wishes for herself, I wish for her as well. It is interesting that at this time of year I always take a course or two and also would like a venue to share what I have learned with others. This year I have decided to change what I do and practice my photography this fall and take a course in the winter. I hope that by meditating or just puzzling it out, the right decision will come to you as it has to me.

As Sue wishes for herself, I wish for her also. I definitely think meditation will help you sort it out. May your course of action come to you easily.

Art therapist? Personal life coach with an art twist (I would love a personal life coach that gave me art assignments in addition to life assignments!! :)

I hope you figure this out. I'm sort of going through the same challenge- so much I am interested, so which path do I follow?

I am a firm believer that the inspiration to follow a path will naturally come to you when the time is right. I think it's ok to spend time researching options but don't frustrate yourself by dwelling on the same options that haven't felt right. You'll know it when you feel it :-)

As Sue wishes for herself, I wish for also. It sounds like you have a lot of interesting, fun choices to make -- and that's a plus even though it can be frustrating.

As for the photo - is that a reflection off a glass of wine (or do I just have wine on the brain?). I may have to steal, I mean, try that idea out.

Morning has Broken

Yesterday the black dog came to visit me, the same black dog who  used to visit Winston Churchill. When my daughter came around, she could  see the black dog had turned up too and  that I was completely at his mercy. She made her leave with a simple kiss and goodbye,  "hope he goes soon", I nodded in agreement. For when he's around he completely  demands my attention and there's no shaking him loose! On retiring I sternly told the black dog I didn't understand the reason for his visit and that I thought I had sat with him for long enough  and to be gone in the morning! *** I've not seen him so far, this morning thank goodness !!! It is the beginning of a brand new day,  I am grateful for each day of my life...   I was at a funeral on Friday,  to say we'd anticipated a sad day all turned out most beautifully.... my favourite hymn was sung 'Morning has Broken' On this brand new day I'm sitting here tapping the k...

My Silken Altar

The reflective image below is one taken of my south facing window,  which is more like an altar to me because of the ever changing light that allows for embracing the moments of silent connection and praise. I take many photographs from this window as I marvel at the sun's energy  to illuminate or in this case reveal through shadows and reflections. This image has been sitting in my file for sometime, it has a hidden message for me that  I knew would one day surface...    Heart broken open by the mystery of you... love stitches together.  Gentle love rides pain like silken thread slips through jute spring balm for raw edge. Stitch with silken love the polarities of life  embrace the mystery... Sending to Rebecca for healing... Haiku my Heart Recuerda mi Corazon
