Windows

Wandering back to a time
when windows were portals for dreaming....
life was rosy, each day an adventure....

huge classroom windows were always
more interesting than maths....

Miss would say I was a dreamer....
I was, still am....
Dreaming is deemed a wonderful occupation these days....

I dreamed I could be a tool, a proponent for love..........

oh, sue,
i just woke up
from a dream
where i was peering out
of the attic window
of a house
i lived in long ago...

we need more dreamers.

For me windows belong to the most lovely feature of a house. Big windows that open to a garden. I love to lie on the couch and look through the window at all the birds who come together at the feeders. And then I start dreaming... Ah, thank you for taking me there.

Your post was so incredibly beautiful. Both your photography and words touched me. I felt as though I was reading a beautiful book.

I love windows. I was always looking out of them at school - it didn't matter if I was the student or the teacher. I couldn't help it, I loved to look out. Very few of my windows are covered. I need to be able to look out at nature and enjoy all there is to see.

when I was a child, I would sit at my desk in school, dreaming out the window. I still do.. and now it is called being in the present moment, meditating.. then it was called day-dreaming, wasting time.. not a good thing back then, apparently. but now I know better :)

I have difficulty recognizing the landscape around me, I'm lying low so that I can absorb some of the new terrain. I am still quite dizzy, it's going to take some time... Much of what I wrote about here in this space would involve a brief glimpse of 'my love' and our life together. I had thought of closing 'Finding my Bliss', for a pivotal part of everything this blog has stood for seemed on the surface of things to be missing! But as the days have come and gone I am beginning to look at things in a different light and although I am grieving for my love I find I am l feeling his prese
